Quick Tip: Selecting Your Pattern Size

When selecting what pattern size to cut, look at the finished garment measurements. Each are different, and this step could save you time. If the pattern doesn't list the finished garment measurements, check your measurements, (plus ease of wearing) on the actual pattern pieces.

  • Thanks for posting this Kimberli and sharing your expertise! Not all patterns are created equal and your tip is soooo important! I know a lot of the pattern companies used to have this info on the outside of the envelope but it seems that most of the time it is now printed on the actual tissue so it takes a bit of “hunting” to find.
